The consultancy
ClearFrame Education was founded to address a genuine gap: experienced principals who understand both the realities of leading an international school and the substance of what AI, data, and digital governance actually mean in that context.
Most consultancy in this space comes from one direction or the other — either technology specialists without school experience, or educationalists without technical grounding. ClearFrame sits at the intersection.
In Year One, all work is delivered personally by the founder. ClearFrame works with a small number of schools at any one time — this is a deliberate choice, not a constraint.
The founder
Rod Boswell has spent more than 25 years in international education across the UK, the Middle East, and South Asia, most recently as Principal of El Alsson British International School in Cairo.
He holds the BCS Foundation Certificate in AI and has extensive experience of BSO inspection frameworks.
ClearFrame is based in South London.
Philosophy
Advisory-only. No recruitment. No affiliate relationships. No agenda other than the school's own interests. ClearFrame provides analysis, challenge, and guidance — and leaves implementation decisions with the people who know the school best.
